More FAQs- Will a professional upholstery cleaning be disruptive to my business?
- What is antimicrobial surface protection and why do I need it?

The team at ServiceMaster Clean Of Durham & Scarborough will work with you to schedule a time after hours or we can develop a customized program to clean your upholstery. Our technician will inform you of estimated drying times.
What antimicrobial surface protection offers you is greater peace of mind. The science of antimicrobial surface protection has existed since the early 1970’s. Antimicrobial surface protection is a chemical solution that, when applied, molecularly bonds to surfaces and renders that surface inhospitable to microbes, which inhibits their growth. What this means, effectively, is that surfaces stay cleaner for longer!
This depends on whether a low-moisture encapsulation or a deep clean of your carpet has been applied. However, a general rule of thumb is to allow a drying time of six to eight hours before you can walk on your carpet.
